Tracking Technologies and Cookies
We and Our Service Providers use Cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Website, remember preferences, understand Website use, measure communications and campaigns, and support advertising and business-to-business marketing. The Website visibly uses LinkedIn and ZoomInfo tracking pixels, which may collect or receive Usage Data and identifiers to provide analytics, attribution, audience measurement, or advertising-related services, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. The technologies We use may include:
- Cookies or Browser Cookies. These technologies store or access information on Your Device. You can use browser settings to block or delete them, although some Website features may not function properly.
- Pixels and tags. The Website and Our emails may use pixels, tags, or similar code—including LinkedIn and ZoomInfo pixels—to recognize visits or interactions, measure engagement, and support analytics, attribution, and advertising.
Cookies may be session-based or persistent and may be set by Robling or by third parties. Where required, We request consent before using non-essential Cookies. You can manage available choices through the Website’s cookie controls, browser settings, or a legally recognized opt-out preference signal such as GPC. Browser-based “Do Not Track” signals are not standardized, and We do not respond to them unless required by law.
We use Cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Type: Session or persistent, as needed
Administered by: Robling or its website providers
Purpose: These technologies are necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the Website, enable requested features, balance traffic, and remember privacy choices. They are not used for targeted advertising.
Preference Cookies
Type: Persistent, as needed
Administered by: Robling or its website providers
Purpose: These technologies remember choices such as cookie-consent status, language, or other Website preferences.
Analytics and Advertising Cookies
Type: Session or persistent
Administered by: Robling and third parties, including LinkedIn and ZoomInfo
Purpose: With any consent required by law, these technologies help Us understand Website use, measure communications and campaigns, identify business interest in Robling’s offerings, create or measure audiences, and support advertising or business-to-business marketing. Information collected may be linked to a browser, Device, account, or profile maintained by a provider.
You can revisit available cookie choices through the Website’s cookie controls. Blocking or deleting Cookies may not remove information already received by a third party; You may also need to use that party’s privacy controls or account settings.

- For legal, compliance, and corporate purposes: to comply with law and legal process; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; enforce agreements; protect rights, safety, and property; and evaluate or complete a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
- To create aggregated or deidentified information: to create information that does not identify You and use or disclose it for lawful purposes. We will not attempt to reidentify data that applicable law requires Us to maintain as deidentified.
We may disclose Personal Data in the following circumstances:
- With Service Providers: We disclose Personal Data to providers that host, secure, maintain, and analyze the Website; manage forms, customer relationships, communications, events, and email; provide support services, including through Freshdesk; and assist with professional, legal, accounting, or other business operations. These providers may process Personal Data subject to contractual restrictions appropriate to their role.
- With analytics, advertising, and data partners: Subject to applicable consent and opt-out rights, We may disclose identifiers, Usage Data, and professional information to providers such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo for analytics, attribution, audience measurement, targeted advertising, and business-to-business marketing. These recipients may use information under their own privacy notices where they act as independent controllers or businesses.
- With Affiliates: We may disclose Personal Data within Our corporate group for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
- With business and event partners: We may disclose contact and professional information to a partner when You request a joint offering, register for a jointly sponsored event, or otherwise direct Us to make the disclosure. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
- For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose Personal Data to courts, regulators, law enforcement, government authorities, or other parties when We reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and property; investigate fraud, security incidents, or misuse; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- For corporate transactions: We may disclose or transfer Personal Data in connection with the evaluation, negotiation, or completion of a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of Our business or assets. We may also disclose Personal Data for another purpose that We explain when collecting it or with Your consent or direction.
Retention of Your Personal Data
We retain Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to manage an active inquiry or business relationship, maintain appropriate business and communications records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Website and Our rights. Retention periods vary by the nature and sensitivity of the data, the context in which it was collected, operational needs, applicable limitation periods, and legal requirements.
We generally retain Usage Data, cookie identifiers, and marketing records for shorter periods than ongoing business records, subject to the settings and retention practices of relevant providers. We delete, anonymize, or aggregate Personal Data when it is no longer required, unless continued retention is permitted or required by law. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until overwritten under routine backup procedures.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Robling is based in the United States, and We and Our Service Providers may process Personal Data in the United States and other countries where We or they operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where You live.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to a restricted international transfer, We use a lawful transfer mechanism as required, such as an adequacy decision, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, or another approved mechanism. We apply supplementary safeguards where appropriate.
You may contact Us to request information about the transfer mechanism relevant to Your Personal Data, subject to appropriate redactions. Regardless of location, We require Personal Data to be handled consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where You live and subject to applicable exceptions, You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of Personal Data that We maintain about You. Additional jurisdiction-specific rights are described below.
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. You may manage available cookie choices through the Website’s cookie controls or Your browser and may use GPC where applicable. These choices do not prevent Us from sending non-promotional responses or service-related communications.
To submit a privacy request, contact Us using the details in the “Contact Us” section. Please describe Your request and the jurisdiction in which You reside. We may need to verify Your identity and authority before acting on the request.
Privacy rights are not absolute. We may retain or decline to act on certain information where permitted by law, including to comply with legal obligations, protect security and integrity, complete a transaction requested by You, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We will explain an applicable denial and any available appeal right.
Security of Your Personal Data
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Safeguards are selected in light of the nature of the Personal Data and processing risks and may include access controls, vendor oversight, and measures intended to protect the Website and supporting systems. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and We cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through unencrypted Website forms or email unless requested through an appropriate secure channel.
Third-Party Services
Some third parties process Personal Data only on Robling’s instructions, while others determine their own purposes and means of processing. Their privacy notices govern processing for which they act independently. A link to a third-party service does not mean that Robling controls that service or its privacy practices.
Analytics, Advertising, and Business Intelligence
We use third-party technologies, including visible LinkedIn and ZoomInfo pixels, to measure Website and campaign performance, understand business interest, support attribution and audiences, and conduct advertising or business-to-business marketing. Depending on the configuration and Your interaction, these providers may receive identifiers, IP address, Device and browser information, page and referral data, timestamps, and professional or inferred business information. Use of non-essential technologies is subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
For information about these providers’ practices and controls, review LinkedIn’s and ZoomInfo’s privacy notices and settings. You may also use the Website’s available cookie controls, browser settings, or GPC where applicable.
Email Marketing
Where permitted by law, We may use contact and professional information to send news, event information, and promotional communications about Robling. You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or contacting Us. We may continue to send non-promotional communications, such as responses to Your requests.
We may use email, customer-relationship-management, and marketing providers to manage contacts, forms, and communications. Those providers receive Personal Data needed to perform their services and are subject to contractual terms appropriate to their role.
Targeted Advertising and Opt-Out Choices
Robling and providers such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo may use Cookies, pixels, or related identifiers to measure advertising, create or reach audiences, or support business-to-business marketing. Depending on applicable law, these activities may be considered targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, “sharing,” or a “sale” of Personal Data even if Robling does not receive money for the disclosure.
You can opt out of or withdraw consent for non-essential technologies through the Website’s available cookie controls. You may also use GPC, adjust browser settings, or use LinkedIn’s and ZoomInfo’s privacy controls. A choice may apply only to the browser or Device on which it is made, and deleting Cookies may require You to renew the choice.
Industry opt-out tools may provide additional choices for participating companies, but they do not replace Robling’s cookie controls or provider-specific settings:
- Network Advertising Initiative: https://optout.networkadvertising.org/
- European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/
- Digital Advertising Alliance: https://optout.aboutads.info/

Legal Bases for Processing under the GDPR and UK GDPR
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, We rely on one or more of the following legal bases, depending on the context:
- Consent: for non-essential Cookies or marketing where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

- Legal obligation: when processing is necessary to comply with law, regulation, court order, or other legal process that applies to Us.

These interests may include operating and securing the Website, responding to business inquiries, improving offerings, maintaining business records, measuring communications, conducting proportionate business-to-business marketing, preventing fraud, and protecting legal rights.
You may contact Us for information about the legal basis applicable to particular processing and whether providing Personal Data is required by law or contract or is optional. If You do not provide data identified as necessary, We may be unable to respond to a request or provide the relevant interaction.

- Request data portability for Personal Data You provided to Us where processing is automated and based on consent or contract; withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent; and not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects, except as permitted by law. Robling does not use Website Personal Data to make such solely automated significant decisions.
Exercising EU and UK Data Protection Rights
You may exercise applicable rights by contacting Us using the details below. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify Your identity and locate relevant records. You may authorize another person to act where permitted, subject to proof of authority and identity verification.
You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the EEA country where You live or work or where an alleged infringement occurred. In the United Kingdom, You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We encourage You to contact Us first so We can try to address Your concern.

Robling does not sell Personal Data for money. However, Our use of LinkedIn and ZoomInfo pixels and related analytics, advertising, attribution, audience, or business-data services may involve disclosures of Personal Data that qualify as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children through the Website. Third-party sites linked from the Website are governed by their own privacy practices.
We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Data of Consumers under 16 or knowingly process their Personal Data for targeted advertising. We do not offer an opt-in program for those activities.
If You believe a child has provided Personal Data to Robling through the Website, contact Us using the details below. We will investigate and delete the information when required by law.
Your Rights under U.S. State Privacy Laws
Subject to the law that applies where You live and applicable exceptions, You may have some or all of the following rights:
- The right to know and access the categories or specific pieces of Personal Data We process; the categories of sources; the purposes for processing; and the categories of recipients, including information about sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or disclosure for business purposes where applicable.
- The right to correct inaccuracies in Personal Data, taking into account the nature of the data and the purposes of processing.
- The right to opt out of the sale of Personal Data, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or processing for targeted advertising. You may use the Website’s available cookie controls, enable GPC, or contact Us. Your choice will apply as required by law and may need to be set on each browser or Device.
- The right to data portability, including to obtain a copy of Personal Data You previously provided in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format, subject to applicable law.
- Rights concerning sensitive Personal Data, including to limit certain uses and disclosures or withdraw consent where applicable. Robling does not intentionally collect or use sensitive Personal Data through the Website in a manner that requires a right-to-limit link or consent under U.S. State Privacy Laws.
- The right to delete Personal Data that We collected from or about You, subject to exceptions such as completing a requested transaction, maintaining security, complying with law, exercising legal rights, or other uses permitted by applicable law.

Submit requests using either of the following methods:
- By email: info@robling.io; or by mail: Robling, Inc., 421 5th Ave W, Hendersonville, NC 28739, United States
You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We may require proof that You authorized the agent and may verify Your identity directly, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
A request should:
- Provide information reasonably necessary to verify Your identity or authority and locate responsive records
- Describe the request with enough detail for Us to understand, evaluate, and respond
We will use information provided for verification only as permitted by law. If We cannot verify a request or confirm that the Personal Data relates to You, We may be unable to fulfill it.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may extend the response period or charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive requests where permitted and will provide any required notice and explanation.
The lookback period and information provided will be governed by applicable law. Certain records may be exempt from disclosure or subject to redaction to protect security, confidentiality, or the rights of others.
For portability requests, We will provide responsive Personal Data in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format as required by law.
Opting Out of Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
You may opt out of processing that constitutes sale, sharing, or targeted advertising by using the Website’s available cookie or privacy controls, enabling GPC in a supported browser or extension, or contacting Us. We process recognized opt-out preference signals as required by applicable law.
An opt-out applies to future processing covered by the request and does not require Us to delete Personal Data already collected; deletion is a separate right. The choice may be specific to the browser, Device, or identifier, so You may need to repeat it on other browsers or Devices and after deleting Cookies.
You may also use LinkedIn’s and ZoomInfo’s privacy controls and the industry tools listed in “Targeted Advertising and Opt-Out Choices.” Provider and industry tools apply according to their own terms and may not communicate a request directly to Robling.
California Direct-Marketing Disclosure Requests
California residents with an established business relationship with Robling may request information once per calendar year regarding certain disclosures of Personal Data to third parties for those parties’ own direct-marketing purposes, as provided by California Civil Code § 1798.83.
To submit such a request, use the contact details below and identify it as a “California Shine the Light Request.”
Links to Other Websites
The Website may link to third-party sites and services, including Robling’s Freshdesk support portal and social-media or partner pages. A third party may collect Personal Data when You follow a link or interact with its service. Review the third party’s privacy notice before providing information.
Robling does not control and is not responsible for independent third-party sites or services. This does not limit Robling’s responsibilities for Personal Data that a provider processes on Robling’s behalf.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in Our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy on the Website and revise the “Last updated” date.
If a change materially affects how We process Personal Data, We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law. The form and timing of notice will depend on the nature of the change and applicable requirements.
Please review this Privacy Policy periodically. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, an updated policy is effective when posted.
